| Obituary* | Death of Mrs. Hairston - Mrs. Sarah S. Hairston died at her home near Stockton, Henry county, on Thursday, after a long illness. The deceased was born in Henry county on August 30, 1820. She was the daughter of the late General John Dillard, who served in the War of 1812. On May 24, 1845, she was married to Mr. Nicholas Hardeman Hairston, who preceded her to the grave many years ago. She is survived by two sons, Mr. N. H. Hairston, of Marion, S.C., and Mr. J. D.
