Marriage*Virginia Antoinette "Nettie" ERVIN married George William HAIRSTON, son of Dr. Peter Constantine HAIRSTON and Wortley Virginia MOSELEY, on 22 January 1885. The attached PDF is a copy of a letter that Nettie wrote to Aunt Sallie Cox (Mrs. John Charles Cox) on January 19, 1885.5

Death*Virginia Antoinette "Nettie" ERVIN died on 4 August 1890 in Crawford, Lowndes County, Mississippi, at age 30. Sadly, Virginia died the day after giving birth to a son and a daughter. Her son George William Jr. was healthy, but her daughter, Virginia A. died at birth.6,7 
Burial*She was buried in Hardy Jennings Cemetery, Lowndes County, Mississippi.6
