Census 1850Bethenia Harden HAIRSTON appeared on the 1850 census of Marshall HAIRSTON on 24 August 1850 in Henry, Virginia; Marshall Hairston 48, Ann Hairston 47, Virginia Nelson 25, Elizabeth P Hairston 14, Ann M Hairston 12, Ruth Hairston 12, John Hairston 10, Bethenia H Hairston 6. Virginia Nelson does not appear to be related to the Hairston family and may have been a teacher for the children.1 
Death*Bethenia Harden HAIRSTON died on 22 November 1851 in Yalobusha, Mississippi, at age 8.4 
Burial*She was buried in Beaver Creek Plantation Cemetery, Henry, Virginia.5
