Death*John Townes HAIRSTON died on 4 July 1933 at age 77. The cemetery marker shows date of death as 4 July 1933, but the obituary in the Macon Beacon newspaper is dated july 8, 1932 and it states he died July 7, 1932.13 
Burial*He was buried in Oaklimb Cemetery, Crawford, Lowndes County, Mississippi.13
