Census 1850Almond HAYS appeared on the 1850 census of Nancy Green Hays on 16 October 1850 in Powder Springs District, Cobb, Georgia; Nancy Hayes 35 SC, Almon 18 male, Avin 16 male, Ansley 13 male, Angeline 13 female, Amelia 11 female, Amaziah 11 female, Alexander 8 male. All children born in Georgia. 
DeedOn 21 April 1856, Thomas H. Moore is guardian of minor children of Jackson Hays, deceased and the attorney for Nancy Hays and Almond Hays. Thomas H. Moore sells 19 1/2 acres to highest bidder Charles Rice for $40. - Franklin County Deed Book CD, page 80. FSL #8153362, image 413. 
Census 1860He appeared on the 1860 census of Nancy Green Hays on 16 July 1860 in Powder Springs, Cobb, Georgia; Nancy Hays 46, Almond 27, Alvin 25, Ansley 24, A. E. 22, Amalisa 21, Amaziah 19, Alexander 18 and Amanda 18.3 
MilitaryAlmond Hays enlisted in the Confederate Army on 12 May 1862 at Big Shanty. - FSL #9063588, image 1772. 
MilitaryOn 10 September 1863, Almond Hays, Private Company J, 2 Regiment Georgia Cavalary, Confederate, was captured near Summervile, Georgia. He was released on 30 September 1863 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is from Cobb County, Georgia has brown hair, hazel eyes and is 5' 11". Census 1870He was Head of Household on 22 July 1870 in Cobb, Georgia, Alman Hays 36, Nancy 60, Angeline 23, Amaricus 21, Amanda 19, Ansley 35. 
DeedOn 14 February 1876, Ansley Hays sells 250 acres in Cobb County to Almond Hays, Angeline Hays, Amalissa Hays and Amanda Hays for $20. - Deed was recorded 18 May 1889 in Early County, Georgia Deed Book P, page 283. FSL #8564268, image 183. 
Census 1880He appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in Powder Springs, Cobb, Georgia, Almond Hays 40 and sisters Mada 26, Angeline 32 and Mellissa 35.

Census 1910He appeared on the 1910 census of Amanda HAYS on 28 April 1910 in Powder Springs, Cobb, Georgia; Amanda Hays 65 and brother Almond Hays 70, both single. Living near Ammalissa Hendrix 71 and sister Angelina Hays 73.4 
Death*Almond HAYS died on 19 November 1917 at age 84.2
