Census 1860*Anne E. Witherspoon was Head of Household on 10 August 1860 in Columbus, Lowndes, Mississippi. Miss M. J. Witherspoon 22 MS $24,000, A. E. Witherspoon 37 SC $17,000 and W. L. Witherspoon 29 SC $32,000, all living in the Cady's Hotel, Columbus, Mississippi. Hotel owned owned by William Cady 44 and from New York.2
