ProbateOn 2 January 1854, John W. Witherspoon is the guardian of his sister Mary Jane and he petitions the court to allow him to buy the 1/7 interest in land owned by his deceased sister Margaret J. Witherspoon that she aquired from their brothers Robert E. & C. L. Witherspoon. - Lowndes Probate Records 1853-1854, page 337. FSL #.
