| Newspaper* | HOMICIDE. The Columbus Democrat of the 4th instant, says: "We have just been informed that Theophilus Harvey killed John Norwood in a rencontre at Crawfordsville on Wednesday week. They were both citizens of thsi county. The facts of the case, as we have been told, are briefly follows: Norwood went into Harvey's store, laid down a double barrel gun which he had with him, drew a knife and threatened to kill Harvey, whereupon the latter snatched up the gun and struck Norwood over the head, fracturing his skull and causing his death in a few hours. Of causes which led to this fatal rencontre, we are not informed.
