Sims and Miss Corinne Powell was celebrated at the home of the bride, in Rolling Fork, on the morning of 30th instant. At 8 o'clock the bride and groom approached. Mr. Van Hook having met them, he proceeded with the impressive ceremony. There were no invitations issued -- only a quiet home wedding. Miss Corinne is the daughter of our esteemed fellow-townsman, H. J. Powell, and is a young lady possessing all those qualities that go to make up a true noble Christian woman, modest and retiring in her disposition. Therefore those who know her best are the ones who most heartly congradulate Mr. Sims on being so fortunate as to win her love. Mr. Sims is the son of the late Capt. Thomas Sims, of Virginia, and is a well known man throughout the county, and is a good, moral boy. As soon as the ceremony was ended they repaired to the depot, accompanied by a host of friend, who were anxious to bid them God speed on their journey to their future home.
